1929 Packard 640 Deluxe Eight Club Sedan

$62,500.00

The Packard is the epitome of American automobile greatness. From its very beginnings in 1899 the Packard cars were of the utmost quality, really hitting their stride at the end of the first decade of the 20th century with its larger six cylinder models and even more so with their twin six cars of the teens. In 1924 Packard introduced its first straight eight model and from there only improved it to be one of the best and smoothest American cars ever made. The late 1920's and well into the 1930's was the greatest era for Packard creating some of the greatest American classics in automotive history.

Offered here is a beautiful example of a 1929 Packard Deluxe Eight club sedan that has been in private ownership for many years. It wears a very well executed restoration finished in two tone blue and the cloth interior is beautifully done with attention to detail that really shows the beauty of a closed car. The club sedan is a sporty closed model with a short body and enclosed rear quarter windows which is quite handsome. Mechanically this car runs and drives wonderfully and still retains its original Packard carburetor. Overall this is a beautiful '29 Deluxe eight that can be driven with little effort and is in beautiful condition ready for the car show season. Contact us today for more information.
