1959 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint
The Alfa Romeo Giulietta was introduced to the world in 1954 gaining instant popularity with its Bertone body design and 1290cc double overhead cam engine that could really move. Becoming so popular, especially in road racing, Alfa began to offer Veloce versions with a bit more horsepower to satisfy the need for speed. The Sprint was the coupe version of the Giulietta and is quite sporting, lightweight and the most usable iteration of the model and are sought after by collectors and vintage racers all around the world today.
Offered here is a really neat modified 1959 Giulietta Sprint that has been converted to Veloce spec with a few more tweaks to really make this a go fast machine. While it is a very good original 750 series Sprint, the engine has been fitted with Weber carburetors, racing camshafts, Alfaholics exhaust system, high compression pistons and Pertronix ignition. It also has been fitted with GTA style bucket seats that have been finished in red leather. This car runs and drives incredibly well and is an extremely fun car to drive either on the road or track.
